You could try put acne cream on before you go play on the affected area. You should also make sure that the chin pad is clean before letting it touch you face- any anti bacterial thing should work. I am assuming the acne is coming from your skin being unable to breath and your pores being clogged by the sweat that's trapped in there. You could also try washing your face right after the game with face wipes (really convenient way to wash on the go).

Using an alpha hydroxy peel off mask once a week could also help unclog those pores. I recommend Ives Alpha Hydroxy mask- it's cheap and it really works.

I had a problem like this happen to me from having dental surgery. I have adult acne, and Salicylic Acid helps my acne better than anything I have ever used other than Retin A. Use something like Neutrogena products with 2% Salicylic Acid in it to clean your skin. If you can, I would put a gauze pad over the chin pad so your chin doesn't touch it.

Put some powder on the chin pad - see if it helps.
When you aren't catching - apply a cool compress to the area -

Perhaps a better fitting strap could help? Also neosporin may help if you place a dab on before a game.
