Call your dermatologist (or any derm for that matter) and ask to get in for a quick kenalog injection. Kenalog comes in different strengths and they inject it directly into the "cyst" to reduce inflammation and swelling. They will know what you are talking about…also, sometimes insurance covers it
But if not, it is not very expensive, maybe $50-100, and worth it because it helps with the discomfort and prevents a potential acne scar.
