hm.. that’s…. weird? but i know that isn’t hormonal acne. my brother and sister used to have pimples and acne all over their faces. That’s because they didn’t go crazy in treating the skin on their acne. So you need to go crazy in taking care- but don’t over-do it. cuz it can cause you to use money. I think products aren’t as good as things you can find in your home. Like organic honey, seedless grapes, and avocado, and stuff like that. i use organic honey for my acne. and CLEAN organic honey, with a clean teaspoon and yeah. you need to cleanse your face 3 times a day. Minimum, 2 times a day. Morning and night. If possible, morning, after-school, and at night before you go to bed. and after you cleanse your face in the morning(when you cleanse, use a good product for cleansing), you should use organic honey on your face. But you need to be careful here. My honey is rough and sometimes, rough products on acne and pimples will make it worse. So i apply my organic honey on my face, and i take my teaspoon and crush them against my face. and it will soften. then, i take my hands and massage my cheeks, lightly, and on my forehead. Then wash it all off later on. When you cleanse, don’t cleanse to hard on it. It CAN clog your pores and will make more acne. If you want to tighten your pores, use ice on it. I have pimples on my forehead and some on my chin. Pimples on my chin is kinda fading away, but on my forehead, some are going away, but some are just.. growing huge. cleansing 3 times a day(PS, i don’t use a cleanser. Just water. But it works for me) and re-cleansing the second time with soft, organic honey. That’s all i do, daily. My acne is slowly fading away, but at least it’s working. other products like the st. ive’s (i think that’s how you spell it), made it all worse and cause scratches on my face. hope this helped!
It may never go away. I’m 27 and still have acne.
There is blemish healing foundation, instead of oily foundation which covers it up but makes it worse.same for concealer.
Wash your face every night & morning.
If you have oily skin, then find an oil free moisturizer to apply daily .If your face feels its too dry then it will produce more oil ,which wont happen if you moisturize with an oil free moisturizer.
I hope this helped!
As a rule, males tend to get acne in their late teens, and outgrow it in their early twenties. Females, however, generally get a little bit at menarchy, but tend to get most of their acne beginning around age 23, and can continue on until menopause (unless they begin to receive hormonal replacement therapy). So, what you are experiencing is pretty normal.
You didn’t mention what antibiotic you had been taking, or what the dosage was or for how long a time. Some antibiotics are better than others; and some acne responds better to different types of therapy. Because you didn’t include a picture of your acne, it’s not really possible to estimate what would be your best treatment options.
