Finding the right product is the key. I had to try several before I found one that really helped. Clinque was that for me. Keihls as well. Both worked great. You have to try different ones and be consistent with your cleaning. It will get better! I promise!
Clinque never left me oily. In fact it was very drying. I had to use a moisturizer with it. Now that my acne is under control I prefer Keihls because it less harsh. Keep trying. Go to Clinque and talk to them. They can give you a lot of advice. I know too it harder for girls because yall wear makeup. You might what to look at the brand of makeup you are using as well.
Call Proactive it works for me
One word..
BUKKAKE!
i heard proactive werks
Try using 10% or 15% glycolic acid cream by Neostrata a few nights a week. It might sting a bit when you first start using it. Make sure to use sunscreen through the day if you do this because the glycolic acid will make your skin more sensitive to light.
First simple yet effective thing: Wash you face, but with a soft soap like olay, dove, ect.
If your a student wash your face before school, after school, around 7-8pm, and before you go to sleep, or just whenever your face feels oily. A tip is to use cold water instead of warm so you don’t open your pores, i believe. Also after you wash your face put lotion on it, the reason why is because your body produces face-oil to moistirize you face and keep it from getting too dry, by putting lotion on you do it for your body w/out the oil, otherwise your body would be doing it with twice the work which would really backfire.
Also just find a acne- solution that works for you.
I have heard about Proactive, but I personally just WASH my FACE!!!
Try it, it really does work!
It’s normal for a teenager to have acne but its is not normal when things is outta control..sometime it’s ur raging hormone responsible for the cause. if this the case then it will slowly dissappear when you get older my advise—keep your face clean so any inflammed acne will not be infected and please dont try to squeez or touch it frequently..proactive is one of the best solution
proactive didnt work for me either.
it dried out my face and made it worse
but i went to my dermatoagist and he perscrbed me neostrata its a liquid that you apply to your face at nihgt and it has worked so well fro me my skin went from minor acne (mainly forehead and chin to completely slear. so maybe try that.
also facials and microdermabrasions every couple to 6 months will help clear your skin!
good luck
Try to take a day or two off from shaving every week, and talk to a dermatologists if you get more than half a dozen zits at a time. I tried more than a few commercial and prescription medications before I finally just stopped getting them.
I’m a teen too&&is suffering what your suffering and personally im juss trying to steam face to open my pores and then wash my face 2x a day(morning+night)try using a oil free soap and try not to touch ur face so much(i know it`s hard) well`hope i helped!
im 13 and proactive made my face smooth as hell.
At a mall there might be a store called origens. It’s exepensive but it last the whole year. get the frothy face wash. What you do is put a little dab on your fingertip and put it all over your face(but don’t rub it in) and let it sit for about a minute then rinse it off! That’s it! Hope it helps! Bye now!
