Does the generic version of proactiv really help?
i hаνе seen generic versions οf proactiv аt stores such аѕ target, wal-mart, walgreens, etc. i want tο know dο thеу actually work? οr ѕhουld i јυѕt gο splurge οn proactiv?

I would definitely recommend using Proactiv. I wouldn’t consider it a splurge considering it breaks down to just about a $1.00 a day. (Most people spend more on coffee in a week than a whole kit would cost, which would last for 2 months!)
I have used and worked for proactiv for over 2 years and I absolutely LOVE it! You just have to use it right. Take into consideration your skin type, the other types of products you have used and what the reaction (if any) has been, be more aware of the activities that you do. All these little things can help you put a good regimen together.
Proactiv is a higher quality than the drug store brands. The benzoyl peroxide is more concentrated. There isn’t any alcohol to dry/sting/strip your skin.
Everyone Needs to use a moisturizer with Proactiv. Dryness is the main side affect of Any topical treatment. So you just want to prevent that from happening. Its best that the moisturizer has a SPF of 15 or higher to prevent and sensitivity from the sun and to prevent darker spots after acne from occurring.(the repairing lotion in the 3 core products isn’t a moisturizer, its just a medication.)
The 3 core steps that are mostly seen advertised is just the bare minimum.. that is only the preventative part. (It is not complete kit for most skin types.) They have other kits to help balance out different skin types.

I doubt it, proactiv didnt even work for me, so I have no faith in either of them.
And the proactiv money back guarantee isn’t really a guarantee its been 5 years since I bought it and still have seen no refund.
