you need to wash your face day and night. i started doing this religiously a few months ago because my acne got pretty bad when i got off my birth control. here’s what i do:
cleanse, tone, moisturize. every day and night.
i use clean and clear morning burst cleanser in the morning, then i tone with clean and clear astrigent. after i moisturize with dove facial moisturizer.
at night it’s the same thing, only i use neutrogena nightly cleaser. it’s really good and relaxes your skin. smells sooo good

I want to just add on to Victoria. Sal-acidic acid products are excellent! But they will not get rid of all of it, to do that you need to make sure you are eating right. I mean fruits and veggies and meat, with some body types such as mine I tried being vegetarian and the excess processed soy ruined my thyroid which made my hormones unbalanced which made me fat and with acne and horrible cramps even though I was eating healthy and exercising. But if you are it might work out for you. In any case make sure you are not eating a lot of grease and sugars, some in moderation is fine but pizza face is true If your acne is not going away from using the neutrogena/sal-acidic acid products and a healthy life style, go talk to your doctor and get a dermatologist because you may need special treatment. DO NOT USE PROACTIVE! It’s too rough on teenage skin! It’s really for adult use and I mean mid 20s to 30s.
Wash your face twice a day. I would suggest a face wash that is made just for acne breakouts. Eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water, this helps the skin stay soft and healthy looking, it also prevents breakouts. If you do get a breakout, tooth paste can help dry the pimple out. Also, mixing honey, aspirin, and water can make a great mask to get rid of these pimples.
Heres some suggestions proactiv, murad, or neutrogena. If you cant afford murad or proactiv, go to wal-mart, or a drugstore, and pick up some neutrogena oil-free acne wash.
