How can I get rid of a zit (preferably in 24 h) without using some fancy product?
Is is possible? Or if not, what is a good thing to use that gets rid of a zit in 24 h?

Here are some things you can try:
Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it’s very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.
Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON‘T EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.
Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you’re prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don’t use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don’t scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.
An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.
Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they’re are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.
Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don’t pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.
If you have sensitive skin, don’t use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands a full of bacteria and oils.
Well there is Sudocrem, not nessecairly fancy and most people have it in the house. Put it on overnight and it should of gone/seriously gone down in the morning.
exfoliate over it, but don’t squeeze it because aparently that makes it spread. When i say exfoliate if need be, now i know this is going to sound weird but use an old toothbrush or something similar and with soap on it brush over it, and this should get the puss out.
But you’ll still be stuck with the redness, so if you’ve any green concealer then put that on and a little powder or foundation wichever over the top, and you shouldn’t be able to see it.

Okay, my remedy might not get rid of it in 24 hours, but it will clean it up.
1. Boil some water
2. Get a nice washcloth and soak it in the water.
3. Take the tip of the washcloth and put it directly against your pimple. Let it sit there for 15 seconds.
4. Take a new piece of washcloth and put it on both sides of pimple. (So you can pop it)
5. Slowly squeeze the pus out.
6. (WARNING: THIS PART WILL BURN) Take some hand sanitizer and put it on a Q-Tip.
7. Put the Q-Tip on your pimple.
8. (WARNING: THIS PART WILL BURN TOO) Take some rubbing alcohol and put it on your pimple.
9. Put some Neosporin on a Band-Aid and put it on your pimple.
10. Let sit over night.
It should get rid of your pimple by the next day. If not, you should be able to cover it with some makeup. If it’s still pretty swollen, rub it with an ice cube until the swelling reduces.

go to sallys beauty supply and get (BLEMISH STOP) …….use a qtip to put it on before you go to bed at night. Don’t shake the bottle, read the instructions. IT WORKS FAST!
put some mosterizer on it. and leave it alone. it most likely will have died down by the next day, and will be very easy to cover. Plus this way you won’t have any scars.
Try Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. It’s in a small glass bottle with Pink sediment under and a clear liquid on top. It really works, you put a dab of the stuff over your zit with a Q-tip and leave overnight. The next day, your zit is all dried up. Hope it works for you!
