How do I get my mother to let me use proactiv?
I want tο υѕе proactiv bυt mу mom won’t lеt mе. Shе mаkеѕ mе υѕе hеr mary kay crap аnd іt doesn’t work іt јυѕt mаkеѕ mу skin dry. Sοmе hеlр please…аnd mу dad doesn’t care whаt I υѕе hе јυѕt wаntѕ mу ance gone lіkе I dο. PLUS I hаνе dο аll thе researching, yes I researched thіѕ crap…ѕhе still won’t lеt mе.
i used thе velocity facial cleaner thing аnd moisurizer аnd thе ance gel
What Mary Kay product did you use Mary Kay is a line with different skin care for different types of skin not like proactive specifically fr acne. If the Mary Kay dried you out then proactive will really dry you out based on what I have ben told by those who have used both. If you haven’t tried the Mary Kay blemish control line or velocity then try that line if that is what you tried and it didn’t work then you might want to see a doctor acne is much more then skin care there are multiple factors so even if she lets you try it your might be in the same boat I would pick my battles and if you wanted to fight for something I would pick a dermatologist.
personally i didnt like proactiv it really dried my skin but i don’t have ance so for that part i would not know if it clears it up but
i would recommend cetaphil cleanser
tell your mom that just because mary kay works for her doesnt mean it works for you and that it only makes your skin dry. you can also tell her that it will help ypur self esteem when your acne’s gone and proactiv will help get rid of your acne.
Just compare the two, show her the pros and cons of each, explain why you think its better for you.

Ask your dad to buy if for you. or save up ur money and buy it urself.
tell her u feel too unconfident and ugly and then try to make urself cry..and be like "i dont even wanna try at anything anymore!" and she will feel bad and i bet it will work. say u feel so unconfident
Well I had acne and I tried proactive (it dried my skin, I felt uglier than before :S), then I tried Murad. then I tried again proactive cuz I though I didn’t use it right the first time but it did the same thing and it made my acne worst :S…. then I tried Clerasil, Neutrogena, etc etc etc…….. and finally my mom took me to the dermatologist and he gave me some pills and creams and it finally work now I’m seventeen and I have no acne
…………. and then now my dermatologist recommend me Cetaphil (Gentle Skin Cleanser) so help me keep my skin away from acne … you can get it at any drug store you don;t need a prescription for this one (it’s 11 dollars or something like that)………………It does make your skin better ………….I had to change my eating habits though pizza is not good for us lol………… But if you still wanna use proactive (it might work for you) I saw in the TV is only 19.99 and you don’t pay for shipping…….. but that’s the small size though the big one is 60 I think …. But if you really want it save you money little by little or tell your more you don’t feel confident and that all you friends don’t have acne …. just talk to her moms always want their daughters to be confident or ask your daddy for 20 dollars
