How often are you supposed to use Proactiv?

It ѕауѕ tο υѕе іt daily bυt i heard thаt ѕοmе people dont υѕе іt daily bесаυѕе іf u dο аnd u forget tο dο thе treatment thingy, ur skin саn hаνе alot οf breakouts (ѕіnсе ur skin іѕ ѕο used tο thе daily treatment)
btw, i hаνе mild acne…
I don;t use proactive any more but when I did I only used it every other day.

I don’t use Proactiv anymore, but if you have slightly sensitive skin, wash once a day. very sensitive skin: one every other day. Normal skin: two times a day
Well it also depends on your skin type. If you’re skin is very sensitive it’s best to start out using it a few times a week, then later on every other day, then very later you can probably do it everyday (just in the morning, or just at night, or both.) Using acne products a lot at the beginning tends to dry your skin out bad, and you can always buy a very good skin moisturizer if you want to use it daily. You can give it a shot and see if it works out for you, if your skin can handle it, and like always if it’s actually clearing up your acne. I say go for it and just start out light, don’t go heavy at first it can be bad.
the only reason not to use it daily is if it’s too strong and makes your skin too dry…i think i used it twice a day. anyway, do whatever works for u, but be warned, it either won’t work at all, or will eventually stop working after a couple months/years. seriously, i had great skin for two years, and then it just stopped, i asked around and anyone i knew who’d ever had it work agreed that eventually their face became resistant or something, so i’d suggest visiting a dermatologist instead to try and get a more permanent fix
Hi i work for proactiv customer service. when you call the 1800 number you talk to us. You are supposed to use proactiv twice a day morning and night. a dime sized amount of the cleanser and toner and a pea sized amount of the repair treatment. We also recommend using a sunscreen with spf 15 or better when going outside after using proactiv.
when you first start using the product you can experience more intense break outs for the first few weeks. this is just the process of bringing all the acne to the surface of your skin.
