If your baby had newborn acne, when did it clear up?
Mу baby ѕtаrtеd developing newborn acne (diagnosed bу a doctor) аt аbουt 4 weeks οld. Shе іѕ now 5 weeks οld аnd іt hаѕ gotten worse еνеrу day. I know thаt іt іѕ somewhat normal аnd wіll eventually clear up οn іtѕ οwn, bυt ѕοmе websites ѕау months whіlе others ѕау weeks. Abουt hοw long dіd іt take fοr уουr baby’s acne tο clear up?
Every baby is different, but they should go away before they are 6 months old…my little boy had them really bad on his nose and cheeks from the time he was born until he was almost 5 months old, but they got better over time. I’d say they weren’t so noticeable after about 3 months, but I could tell, because I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him!
Don’t worry they will go away and if you are stil concerned when you go in for the 2 month check up ask the pedi. they may be able to bring you a little more comfort! Good luck and congrats on your beautiful little girl! 
It cleared up by the time he was 4 months old (started clearing up at 3 months).
Maybe try some Elidel.
Baby acne is caused by the moms hormones in the baby’s system and they are getting rid of them. My son had his for about 2 to 3 weeks and then never came back.

My son was born with acne. It took a couple of months for his to clear up. But it did return a couple of times. He is 15 months now and still gets it. The best thing to do is make sure you use unscented lotion on his face and body or powder. When you was the face don’t use soap all the time. Just give it a little time and it will clear up.
My son had terrible baby acne, it was all over his face and through his scalp, our drs reccomended Dove Sensitive Soap and Eucerin Calming Cream, i also switched his formula to Soy b/c he was having gas problems so that may have done it too, needless to say it was gone in a week!
She had what looked like zits around her nose for about a month before it cleared up. She is 3 months old now and every once in awhile will get a little red bump here and there, but nothing that really looks like acne any more.
My son only had it on and off for about 2 months after birth. The only thing is now he has some dry skin every once in a while.
It took about a month to clear up completely. I just washed her little face with a warm damp wash clothe several times a day.
My son was about a month and a half old when most of it went away. he Is 2 months old now and still gets it in the creases of his arms and under his chin. I try to keep those places as clean as possible and it seems to keep the acne to a minimum.
