(Proactiv users) Is proactiv supposed to break you out before it starts working?
I’ve bееn using proactiv fοr 5 days аnd mу face gοt worse..bυt i heard people ѕау thаt іt іѕ suppose tο brеаk аt first ѕο thаt іt саn take out аll thе bacteria frοm thе skin аnd thеn уουr face wіll clear up..іѕ thіѕ trυе?..Whеn dο u ѕtаrt tο notice a dіffеrеnсе іn уουr face?

ALL acne treatments do this. Literally across the board (and in my experience, if they don’t, then they’re not doing their job).
The treatment is dredging everything under your skin to the surface, causing breakouts. It’s that ‘heal breakouts today, prevent breakouts tomorrow’ theory. Give it time and this will stop.
I seem to recall that’s what happened to me. I’m pretty sure it’s normal, and the answer above mine makes sense about clearing the bacteria out and stuff. I’d say give it another week or 2, and if it doesn’t clear up by then, try something new. Good luck
yes u do, but dont worry, all do that, good luck!
yes.you start to see a notice in a few weeks
I have oily/sensitive skin prone to acne and this is my experience with Proactiv… I’ve heard SO many great things about it so I decided to try it. For the first TWO MONTHS or so, i followed the instructions (2x a day, all 3 steps) and saw pretty much NO results. So I gave up and canceled my order… but a day too late so there was already another shipment on the way. I took about 2-3 weeks off and decided.. why not finish it up. Within 2 weeks of using it again, my skin started to take a HUGE turn – the pores became finer, less bumps and tiny breakouts (which were the most annoying), and my skin tone became healthier. Occasionally, I still get isolated pimples but those are easily cured overnight with drying lotion. Overall, Proactiv is GREAT!!
Idk. What I know is the combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.
