Problem area on my face– possible acne cyst? What should I do??
It’s located below mу eye, next tο mу nose аnd sort οf above mу cheek. It’s bееn around fοr аbουt a year аnd a half. It usually exists аѕ a bump under thе skin thаt nο one саn see. Bυt I саn feel іt whеn I wrinkle mу nose οr rυn mу finger over іt. It hаѕ flared up a couple times. Once last February аnd again thіѕ week. Whеn іt flared up thе bump gοt bіg аnd I attempted tο squeeze out thе clear/yellowish liquid/pus thаt wаѕ іn іt. Both times I wουld thіnk I wаѕ close tο draining іt οnlу tο hаνе іt come back thе next day.. along wіth redness. I’m nοt sure whаt thіѕ іѕ аnd I wаѕ hoping someone сουld hеlр mе diagnose thіѕ problem аnd whаt I саn dο tο еіthеr eliminate іt οr return іt tο іtѕ previous, unnoticeable state whіlе keeping thе bump аѕ small аѕ possible. I wеnt tο a dermatologist last year аftеr reporting thе area tο mу doctor bυt thе dermatologist ѕаіd ѕhе didn’t feel anything unusual. Obviously something іѕ unusual аbουt іt οr еlѕе I wouldn’t hаνе pus coming out οf іt.

Being the area that it is in I am not sure you could get a course hair there but that could happen and if its below the surface and squeezing it will only irritate it and not allow the hair to come out. Actually just a few weeks ago I had a "spot" on my face next to my chin, thought it was a pimple too and kept picking squeezing everything I could to get it to go away. It did end up being a white course hair that ended up being about 3/4" and had I not picked at it, it may have just come to the surface on its own and I could have plucked it and been done with it!
Another thought is alot of times when people have been in the sun alot and they continue to get spots like that they are thought to be pimples or just a spot that looks infected and we as humans just continue to poke at them because we can’t stand looking at them. Myself included. But anyhow they end up being a small mole.
I know it would be hard but try and just cover it up with make-up for a few days and let it try and do its thing and see what it is. If it continues to bother you then maybe look into seeing another dermatologist. But I agree with the whole pus thing. Pus comes from infection, usually caused by a foreign object (which could be anything) and you are right, if it wasn’t anything it wouldn’t fill with pus continually. Good luck as I know those things can be more stress emotionally than physically!
A Dermatologist is an expert, and they do know if something is "usual" or "unusual." If you don’t trust her, then see a different one. But no one on here can answer your question with any authority.

But before treatment take every detail about this from beautician.
I have had one between my eyes, and it got big and when i squeezed it out i could probably fill a teaspoon or more(sorry for the horrid image) i also had one on my ear lob that i could squeeze out the same amount as the one between the eyes. those two kept filling up (i have had a lot of acne so i consider these as "refilling acne") and i had to empty them a lot of times, the lump you feel is probably the core of the "acne" and after squeezing out puss it can be refiled with the same fluids that come on for example cuts that get infected, this will keep coming as you squeeze, and it will look bigger after you squeeze to as it will swell. you might have to wait it out, ask a doctor or use some needles to make a bigger hole then use the needles to try to pull out as much of the core as possible…
