I have been using proactiv for a year and I would like to quit now. I don’t get bad breakouts on my face, but I do get small ones now and then. I dont think using Proactiv everyday is necessary anymore. What can I get to give me some acne protection without Benzoyl peroxide?? I fear it will cause aging. Thanks.

Ive been trying benzoyl peroxide (10%) for acne and it isnt working that great. is there anything else out there?

Non-medicated– meaning not containing salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, triclosan or any other medication.

Any one had success using ONLY a cleanser OR ONLY a cleanser and toner to clear acne.

I use Proactiv acne treatment on my face before bed at night. It contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. It has already stained pillowcases, towels and several shirts, especially around the neckline. It stains every textile it comes into contact with via my face and hands, even though I wash my hands after applying it. How can I remove the stains and prevent them recurring–which they otherwise will if I continue to use Proactiv?

Would it be bad to put Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide (10%) on zits to clear them up quickly?
and if not could I put them both on at the same time?
