I’m severely allergic to both benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. I have a perfect face wash and lotion but moderate acne on my forehead and nose. I really need to treat the spots! Is there any other kind of cream or way to treat those without using Benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid? Thank-you

My skin is very sensitive, and I really want Proactiv to work for me, but I am pretty sure it’s the Repairing Lotion that caused the blotchyness. It contains Benzoyl Peroxide. Is there any way I can get good results WITHOUT using the Repairing Lotion?

I woke up this morning with a huge acne cyst/nodule about the size of a dime (maybe a little smaller) on my chin. I went out and bought some Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 and I have applied this about three times today. I also woke up with a few minor/moderate zits on my chin, and the Persa-Gel has almost zapped those away. No such luck with the monster on my chin. It may be because I am on my period, but I’m not sure. Most likely because of the other zits on my chin.. Anyways, any quick ways to get rid of this huge beast, or make it smaller at least before tomorrow? I have school tomorrow, and although its skin color with a little red bump at the top, I am thinking it will be red by tomorrow. I have also applied this Neutrogena Redness Control cream I found at Target. Any help for making it less noticeable by tomorrow?

Im having a huge problem with hormonal acne. Im guessing its linked to hormones since its mainly on the chin and around the mouth. My doctor put me on the pill a few years ago to combat the problem but now that I am trying for a baby being on the pill doesnt really work out that well. Ive read about zinc and and tea-tree, benzoyl peroxide and other chemicals thats in toothpaste and head and shoulders. Is there anything, cream, or face wash I can use that isnt gonna be too harmful to continue to use should I get pregnant.

I have this cyst right next to my mouth and its about the size of a quarter. It’s hideous. And responding to nothing I’ve treated it with. It’s been about a week, and I think it’s gotten bigger. I’ve tried benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, aspirin mask, clay masks, hydrocortisone, hot compresses, and ice. I can’t go to the dermatologist so a cortisone injection is out of the question. Please help me, I’m literally in tears because I hate going out with people staring at this huge lump on my face.
I’m going to the store in a few minutes so tell me if I should get something.
