I have mid-moderate "ice pick" scaring along my cheeks from hormonal acne. I just went to my dermatologist, and they told me a procedure that give me perfect skin - a lazer procedure for ,500 bucks, and I would look like a burn victim for a few months. Well - that’s not an option. Anyway had success with things like mederma or copper peptides for these types of scars - or other things?

Ok I just went to the dermatologist and I’ve recently been getting a ton of acne on my jaw, cheeks and chin area. He told me that most of this acne is due to hormones. I usually never break out in these areas even when it’s that time of the month, so what would cause it to now?

I have been washing my face with an exfoliating facial cleanser since November of last year. I see a big improvement in my skin, a lot of the acne scars are fading and I have about 4 tiny red bumps on my face. I know it takes a long time for acne/pimples to clear up, but I wanted to know how long it will take for my face to be almost completely clear? Thank you :]
Also, I have a lot of little bumps on my cheeks, chin, forehead, and above my lip.

I just have acne flareups on my cheeks that consist of one to four small cysts and whiteheads/blackheads. Do I really need to go to a skin specialist?

I have been using proactiv for about a month now and I think that my acne got a little worse than before. Does it work like that? i mean, does the acne get worse before it goes away? But I have to say, (for whatever it’s worth) that my blackheads are completely gone and the overall texture of my skin has improved (but my skin has began drying up a few days ago, it’s not bothersome though). It’s just that I still get pimples on my cheeks. Will proactive actually help me get rid of my pimples?!

Help!

Thanks.
