I am taking accutane, and it has pretty much cleared all of my acne, except for this one cyst on my nose that has been there for seriously a month now. I was wondering if I want to get a cortisone shot to get rid of it, is that something my college health center can take care of, or should I go to a general practice doctor elsewhere? Thanks. 10 points to best answer.
I have a huge acne cyst on my cheek and its been there for weeks. It’s too deep on my skin to pop it and I don’t have health insurance so I can’t go to the doctors. How do I get rid of it?
She has had acne since she was born( Seriously)! She showed me some pictures and it was pretty bad. Now she’s 17 and her acne is grotesquely disgusting! I hardly ever payed any attention to it in the beginning but now i find it hard to look her in the eye because i’m always looking at her face! The acne is so bad it doesn’t even look like acne! She has dime sized cyst on her face with pus in them. She is gorgeous but her acne downgrades her looks majorly. I want to tell her that her acne is destroying our relationship but i can’t. So i need to give her some advice. I love her dearly but i can’t hide the way i feel about acne. I love beautiful skin and she doesn’t have it. Somebody please give me some advice to pass on to her. By the way, she wears loads and loads of make up to cover it up and every time i give her a hug it stains my clothes…Help!?!?!
I recently developed lactose intolerance last year. When I was forced to stop eating dairy I noticed that I stopped getting cysts from my cystic acne on my face. Any time I eat a major source of dairy ,( like ice cream or a milkshake), I always get a cyst on my face within a few days that lasts for around a week. I am frustrated by this situation. I can take lactaid to digest dairy but I still can’t eat it much because it causes cysts. Why does my skin react so strongly to dairy?
I had an ultrasound recently, for something unrelated, and the lady doing it told me I had a cyst on my ovary. I’ve heard they’re quite common and usually nothing gets done about them, but I’ve always had period/PMS problems, like heavy flow and acne etc etc and I’ve heard that this could be the cause of that, so wouldn’t getting it removed remove those problems?
