best prescription acne medicine?
im going back to my dermatologist to try and find another acne treatment…i’ve been on retin-a, and differin, i’ve also been on antibiotics for my acne and NOTHING has worked…
i dont want to take accutane, so what other prescription medicine is available? i’ve tried everything over the counter including pro-activ, clinique 3 step system…ect. i have huge pores, blackheads, white heads and i get a few cysts too
I am 25 years old and have always had a bit of an acne problem but since having my daughter (7 months ago) I have had cystic acne that I cannot clear up. I have seen a dermatologist but nothing is helping. I used to take Minocin as a teen and it worked great but for this it is doing nothing. I am also on birth control used for acne treatment (Diane 35) and 2 creams…Differin and benzoclin. Still…nothing. I don’t seem to get any new acne with it but I have had the same cysts for the last 7 months. I do not want to try Accutane…I will not go there as I have heard the worst of the worst. I’d rather have then acne then take that. If you know of anything else that might help please let me know. Thanks so much.

im using dalacin in the morning and differin in the evening,my acne improving very well now,just got 2 new cyst appearing,but the marks left was still there and im wondering how will i use aloevera sap to help the marks to get fade or don’t stay permanent on my face…pls help,will i use it before the treatment after toning?or after toning and treatment?thank you in advance guys…
I have always had bad acne since I was 10 yrs. old, and now I am 16. I’ve used all the OTC stuff, and doxycycline, minocycline, differin, tretionin(Retion-A) and others. They will help for a while, but not that great, and it will always comes back. Lately I have been getting big cysts and nodules, under my skin, right now i have about 25 and one is forming(OUCH!!) Some have been there for a few months. I am going to the dermatologist, again soon, in about a week. But I also had two cysts, on my chin that were connected under my skin. I would touch one, and pus and stuff would come out of the other. I was really freaked out, and never heard of it. I googled "interconnected cysts" and he only thing I found was, a severe for of acne, called acne conglobata. I have really bad acne, but only one occurrence, of the connected cysts, so do I have a case of acne conglobata, and what do I do, and also what should I tell my derm.? Any one have any similar problem?
