I’ve had acne since the 3rd grade. I been to dermatologist and have see pharmacist and been prescribed every tetracycline (doxy,mono), clidamycin, vanoxide, retin a, differin, and tazorac. I am currently using vanoxide in the morning and tazorc in the evening. i take 2 pills of doxyxline a day. Most of the antibotics and creams I have used have messed my face. I have large pore, scarring and very oily skin. If there’s not a good ethnic skin treatment, can anyone me refer me to any other acne treatment other than accutane. the various antibotics have made my skin peel alot especially in my hair and the cortisone in the vanoxide give me big painful cyst. i have use proactiv, zenmed, murad, acnefree, etc. I’ver heard about heritage skin care but i didn’t see any reviews about the product other than the ones on the size and i never trust those. i’m willing to try any prescrip my physican at school can prescribe and i can try any new treatment that are at now. any reccommendations please

my sister has this type of acne.. almost a cyst type acne. it’s kinda red and it’s been there for almost a year and it is driving her crazy. it’s not very big but it’s still noticable. you cant pop it or anything like that.. she has even tried the application "differin." also, we think more are popping up. the main one is on her chin, another is on the side of her face.

HOWW should we get rid of it?

I’ve been suffering from acne for 4 years. Last year i wasn’t much knowledgeable about acne or their meds.My doc never told me to go in the sun with benzyl peroxide so I did. I broke out with huge cysts. It was painful. My whole face was filled with acne and deep acne scars. End of last year it started to get better. But now it’s worse. I took everything from Minocycline, Benzaclin, Differin, Proactive, Doxycline, Tazorac, Duac, sulfur washes, natural herbs, etc. I dont want to take Accutane b/c its very strong there’s no guarantee it will stop my acne forever b/c its mostly about my hormones. Whenever I’m about to get my period i breakout with huge cysts. So i don’t know how accutane will help my hormones only my oil glands. All dermatologists i’ve been to have not been helpful at all. Lately my hormones have been acting funny. My whole life since i was 12 my period came exactly on time, i had no problems. A month before i turned 18 my hormones started to act up. I missed my period, then it started coming late etc. I don’t know what’s happening inside my body. I have tried everything and my face looks diseased or something. I get stares, i don’t look myself in the mirror, it hurts to touch my face. My family/friends all make fun of me. Every time i do look in the mirror i end up crying a lot. I’ve given up, it seems like i have to live with it, i don’t think there is a cure my kind of acne. I don’t know what to do anymore.

First off,do NOT recommend Pro Activ,I’m not asking about that.
My Skin type:Oily
Acne Type:Cysts(I get cysts every now and then,it isn’t bad like most cystic acne sufferers).I also have blackheads.
Other problems:Blemishes

I’m 16 years old,I have lots of post acne blemishes and I get pus filled cysts every now and then,not to mention I have oily skin,which should I use?

I have tried so many products Biore,Olay,Neutrogena,Clearasil,Clean & Clear,Acne Free and St.Ives,I’ve even used prescription oral anti biotics and topical creams(Duac,Differin & Retin-A),but never have I ever tried a kit.Which would you recommend?

Which Should I Use?

Right now I am using three products to clear my ance, Minocycline (anti-biotic) Differin (Cream) and a Clean and Clear Cleanser which has benzoyl peroxide in it will have using so many products affect the process?
