Sassy has acne on her chin. It cleared up when I started washing her chin with a washcloth and Dial antibacterial soap, followed by a benyzol peroxide cream afterwards. My question is what is the "dirt" that seems to come out of the pores? It is dried blood because it turns the washcloth a reddish brown. It comes back every few days, but as long as I wash it off, she has no breakouts.
It’s not flea dirt, we use Advantage. The "dirt" literally comes out of the pores. She is allergic to fleas, so I know when she has them.
My vet said the same thing about plastic bowls being a "breeding ground for bacteria" which could rub on the chin causing acne. We’ve never used plastic though. I’m wondering if it is dried blood coming through her pores/hair follicles?
I feed her Hill’s Prescription diet r/d. It’s really low in fat and high in fiber.

I was always curious as to what others think is the sound a zit makes when you pop it.

For me, it depends on the zit. For instance, a zit that leaves just a little wet trail on your finger makes the sound "plirk," while a zit that leaves just a little white dot makes the sound "ploik." A big zit in the middle of your face that explodes all over your mirror makes the sound "Kung POW!" An older zit, say like one you discover on your shoulder after a few days, has a lot of pus with the consistency of toothpaste, so that zit makes the sound "papule-lapule-lapule-lapule-lapule" as you squeeze it like a tube of toothpaste.

So, my question to the rest of the population is: What sound DOES a zit make when you pop it?

I have this annoying zit under my nose, and yes, I do suffer from acne, but those are little zits that go away within a few days, but this zit just won't go away! It's been there for at least a month now! What should I do to get rid of it?

A few days ago a red bump appeared out of my face. It kind of hurt like a zit. Now i’ve had it for a week and usually my zits don’t last this long. It is strangely hard and no puss comes out. It’s peeling and it’s dark purple. Doesn’t hurt but it’s just a bump.

It’s starting to annoy me and looks like a damn wart.
