She’s was put on antibiotics for a week but they didn’t help. So the vet put her on some heavyduty antibiotics. She was on them for a week (and they seemed to help a little). The vet put her on them for another 2 weeks. I’ve been putting dry food out for her for the last two days (she normally just eats wet food, but gets hungry during the day) and her chin seems to have gotten worse again. I clean her chin with proxide as per the vet on a daily basis. But it seems to be taking an awfully long time to heal up. Is this normal in cats for it to take so long for a skin problem to clear up? My cat is starting to hate me because of all the cleaning. Any hints or tips?

My mom keeps saying that its because I'm dirty and that I dont wash my fash good. I used a cleanser and srub everyday. I used to have acne long time ago too but then I started using proactive and it got better. My skin was really good and I thought I didnt have to use Proctive anymore. Like 2-3 days after I started seeing my acne. I didnt want use Proactive again cus I heard it can damage yur skin and it has a chemica in it that makes your skin addicted to it. So what should i do?
