I have these open wounds n my face from cystic acne due to picking. Should I put antibiotic cream and a band aid on it or what so it does not scar? Or should I just let the air dry it out?

Four months ago I had a large acne cyst on my nose that had to be removed by a dermatologist, who said that there should be no resulting scar. Unfortunately, I was still left with a large, raised reddish-purple scar that has not shown signs of fading since. What would be the best surgical method of removal and how much would it cost? Once again, it is only one scar. Thanks for your help!

I had a question earlier about the bump on my nose. I looked through all of the answers and found one that sounds and looks exactly like what i have. Whoever has had one tell me what they did for you. Also if you know anything that i can do without a doctor to get rid of it.

I had a large hard cyst in the middle of my forhead between my eyes, I stupidly tried to lance it and when it went away I was stuck with a deep pit scar. It draws attention away from my whole face and people wonder what its from. Does anyone have any advice other than dermabrasion to soften the scar and make it less visible? Thanks

My dermatologist says I have cyst acne and it will scar me if I don’t do anything about it, I wanted to take accutane but my parents said too many risks were involved.

Right now I’m on a Benzoyl peroxide face wash, Adoxa pills, and a gel called Duac.

How long will it take for me to see real results?
and is this an effective treatment?
