Well, to start things off, I’m a girl, and I am 14. Typical teen. ^-^

I’ve always had pretty nice skin. Maybe a mini acne spasm of 2 or 3 zits every month or so, but nothing major. My older sister (15) on the other hand, has very bad acne, and I’m terrified that my coming of age will result in the same acne problem. Bottom line is, I’m having quite a bad zit spazz attack, and am unsure how to stop it before it gets out of help. Advice and own experience is appreciated, thank you. =)

And as a final side-note, I shower daily and use Proactive Deep Cleansing Wash daily as well. I’ve used the Proactive for several months now religiously, along with a perscription cream I slab on at night. Thank you again. :3

I think I have hormonal acne but I’m not sure.

I’m 15 now.
I started getting acne in 6th grade.

My acne is mild-heavy, right now its pretty light with a few places healing from last week [when it was really bad] and a few little tiny zits.

Usually my acne is pretty horrible, maybe even disgusting during my time of the month.

But one really gross thing, is that I have HORRIBLE bacne. Its all the way from my shoulders and covering the top portion of my back. I hate wearing tank tops without a jacket or something.
My sister had the same problem, but all of hers just cleared up.

Right now I am using my facial clensar on my back, its gradually working, but it will never get rid of all this acne.

So what I want to know is 1] is this hormonal acne? and 2] how can I get rid of it [espcially my back acne] without going to the dermatologist?

I’m planning on going to a dermatologist if there is absolutely no other way for me to get rid of this.

Please help!

I have chest acne and it is not very noticeable except for one big, red zit right in the middle of my chest. I wear shirts that are mostly cotton, wash the area everyday and even apply a mask to it but it still won`t go away. How do you prevent chest acne and get rid of those nasty zits?

Like, why are some pimples white and pusy, while other zits are just red bumps that never form a head.

Are they both caused by hormones? What causes them to be of either type? I know pus=infection but I thought ALL acne was bacterial to some degree?

what do i do?
im 16. and get big zits on my chin.
then they turn into sores =(
