What do you do when proactiv stops working?
I started using proactiv about a year and a half ago. I was working great until recently… i had SUCH clear skin and since about 3 months ago my face just has not been good! I think my skinhas gotten used to the proactiv, its not terribel acne but enough to be a bother. my mom bought this neutrogena stuff so ill start using that. anyone else have experience with that? or anything else that works well. thanks!
Use unrefined shea butter. Read this:

I was also using Proactive for a while and your skin becomes immune to the Proactive. I switched over to Murad. It seems to work .
Ive tried proactiv and acne free and so on Nothing worked to great for me products always seemed to dry my face out and cause redness But now ive been using ST IVES APRICOT SCRUB for blackhead/blmish control For 2 years now my skin is finally cooperating It exfoliates while moisturizing and has a cooling effect sort of like noxema (but way better) and its more natural based and gentle best of all it cost $3 and last me about 2-3 months i use twice daily Try it Good luck
I heartily recommend ClearPores System.
Hard to treat cases are better left to a dermatologist’s skills, although ClearPores is certainly up to the task. The best way to treat acne is to cleanse the skin with a solution containing Salicylic Acid and SD Alcohol 40.
The ClearPores body and face washes contain these two excellent ingredients, which are accompanied by the well-known Aloe Vera (to soothe the skin and help the healing process), Dandelion Root and Yellow Dock.
P.S. I know someone who used to suffer from SEVERE acne for 14 YEARS and she finally got rid of it completely. She’s sharing her success story at her site:
