Where can I go in order to get Cortisone shots for acne?
Hi yall…. I’m frοm Melbourne city, Australia аnd I hаνе couple οf cyst acnes οn mу face.. I wουld lіkе tο cortisone shots.. уου guys know whеrе i ѕhουld gο tο?
Wουld a general doctor dο thіѕ?

IN the first place a cyst is not acne, if you have a cyst on your face see a dermatologist, they will have to lance it to drain it and usually pack it so it heals from the bottom up or i will reinfect.
If it’s acne then antibiotics or a steroid shot may work. Along with a cream medication this should help.
You may have an infected hair that’s causing the problem.
Not many will do this safely. See a dermatologist because some people can put too much cortisone in the area which can cause a dent or scar. Be careful!! Good luck! Most derms have a PA in the office who are more than qualified to perform this procedure & its a quick in & out visit.
