Why is my face red after my first use of Proactiv?
I used Proactiv last night thе first time. Mу face didn’t become red rіght away bυt mу face wаѕ really itchy.
Thеn today whеn I woke up, mу face wаѕ red.

If you used the Mask, that’s likely the problem. It has sulfur in it. I am allergic to sulfa and my Dr. told me that the sulfur in the mask can cause the same type of allergic reaction. Try the proactiv without using the mask. I can use all the other products without a problem. Your skin may still take a few weeks to normalize after starting the proactiv. It is worth the wait. I use it and have had great results. I had tried everything under the sun before discovering proactiv.

Do not take any more of the Proactiv until you call your doctor! Sounds like you had an allergic reaction. Allergic reactions can cause your lips, tongue or throat to swell, cutting off your airway.
If you do not beleive me call your local ER and ask them. They will tell you the same thing.
Don’t use it no more. That happen to my sister and didn’t work so she returned…..
Many people they don’t have the same skin so is allergic
this might be weird but you might be allergic to it.My bro uses it and his face doesn’t turn red or itch.you need to do something about this.you should see a dermatologist
It’s possible it’s an allergic reaction. More likely, it’s just a reaction to the benzoyl peroxide. It CAN make your skin red and dry. The dryness can cause itching. If you’re concerned, see your doctor.
